MyiLibrary E-books

If you’ve ever experienced a problem with being locked out of MyiLibrary e-books then read on.  Apparently, the problem is related to ‘flicking’ through the pages of the e-book too quickly and the MyiLibrary software assumes you are printing out rather than reading the book, thus breaching copyright.  A 12 or 24 lockout is then applied.  However, before being locked out you will receive two warning messages.  There is a screenshot of the message below.

The suggested course of action to avoid getting this message is to navigate via the contents page rather than flicking through, not an ideal solution I know, hopefully e-books will become easier to navigate as the technology progresses.
